Hi. I'm Scott.

I've been playing music for a long time, but I've often felt frustrated with the way music is taught. It seems most teachers neglect improvisation and composition, and for good reason-- they're often confusing, intimidating, and difficult to learn.

It's a shame, because there are huge benefits to learning how to make music from nothing. My mission is to make these things more accessible. I want to show how all musicians can play better by letting go of their fears and taking a different approach.

Tonic is my take on free improvisation, something that I hope will encourage musicians of all types to be more confident, creative, and have more fun. Thanks for joining me.
